Haiku by Neena Singh, Morag Elizabeth Humble, Ruth Holzer, Cynthia Anderson, and Dinah Power
Grateful dear Allyson & Kathryn for featuring my summer haiku! Congratulations to all poets whose haiku is included.
We are so happy that you submitted such evocative haiku. I can feel the heat in the visual of the bowed-head sunflower!
Thanks Kathryn- it’s really hot here and our sunflowers and zinnias are fading!
For sunflowers to fade, it must be incredibly hot!
It is, we are waiting for monsoons to arrive to appease the heat!
I hope you submit again, then, with monsoon-related haiku!
Sure I will!
thank you for my inclusion
huge congrats to the editors for creatively placing the work in a myriad of categories
Thank YOU for submitting. This one really spoke to me, as I listen to many outdoor concerts, including jazz, on hot and humid summer nights!
